Suiting it up?!

Women in suits... Isn't there anything more classy than that? I've always loved women with an androgynous look. And at the moment I'm looking for that perfect suit, because I'll hopefully  graduate in June. So, right now I'll share my inspiration and my (current) favourites. I've gotta tell you that this is just a few of the items I like.

I get allot of my inspiration of street style blogs. These pictures were found on the website of The Street Fashion Monitor. These pictures caption the three things I want my future suit to have or look like: matching blazer and trousers, jewellery as accessory and flat shoes.

Blazers. Blazers. Blazers. I just couldn't find a complete suit. So, I'll just share my favourite blazers. As you probably already noticed there are three blazers of Balmain. Those definitely are the one I like most. Especially the long velvet tuxedo jacket (the second from the left)... Velvet is a fabric I adore: it can soften every outfit. Even a biker jacket with spikes on the shoulders can look cuddly when wearing a velvet dress.

My favourite part of every outfit: a bag! I've got a lot of issues when choosing one bag... I mean: "I just can't pick one, and leave the rest." Although, I can pick a favourite from this collage: the shoulder bags of Christian Louboutin. You can change the straps, which allows you to change its look in a instant. "These bags give a language to the upper body; they allow a woman to play with her shoulders," says Louboutin. "Her attitude will shift with each style, just like it does when she changes pumps."

As a huge fan of flats, I've made a collage containing flat shoes in particular. I love high heels too, but I'd rather wear flats. I've chosen for loafers, oxfords and bragues. I prefer shoes with bright colours or which are "over-accessorized".  Those can give your outfit an eccentric, yet classy look. It's hard to just chose one as my favourite... The ones I like allot (in random order): Charlotte Olympia kitty embroided calf hair flats, Marni tie front oxfords and Valentino chrystal-studded suede loafers.

Accessorizing is a difficult thing to do. Because you can over-accessorize easily. But they can make or break an outfit too: they give an extra touch. Make sure your accessories complete your look, and make it look more sophisticated. Personally, I like keeping it a little bit down with accessorizing. On special occasions I certainly  like wearing them, but my outfits aren't created around the earrings or necklace I'm wearing. Accessories with great details are the ones I really like, I even love those. Such as the DANNIJO symsom bracelet (the bottom right), the Isharya gold-plated cubic zirconia and enamel feather ring and the Isabel Marant stars light cuff (the top right). Imperial green, as some of you already know, my favourite colour. This colour combined with gold, just looks divine. As seen on the Michael Kors emerald-cut chunky bracelet (the middle right), Aurélie Bidermann feather clip-on drop earrings (the middle right) and Kara by Kara Ross scarab cuff with lizard and malachite.

История игрушек (Toy Story)

Not posting for such a long time... I'm just too busy with school, homework etc. And in about one week my exams will start. That calls for a little preparation, but I'll just keep it with ordering my notes and checking whether I didn't forget something. Besides that, I'll treat you with the cutest and one of the most beautiful photo shoots I've ever seen. I found this one the website of Vogue Russia (my favourite edition of Vogue). In this shoot, sixteen toys will be shown that were designed by several Russian designers. These toys will be auctioned on the 3th of December. This auction will fund Natalia Vodianova's the Naked Heart Foundation which helps disadvantaged children living in urban Russia.
