We all know I didn't have lots of time on my hands last year to blog. Why? Well, I was busy studying. It was my last year of secondary school. And I didn't really feel like redoing my last year - it would be such a shame. By the way, I've never redone any year ever - I think I should be kinda proud of that. So, I've spent most of my time studying for school. Although, I'm not that much of a study-person: I don't learn by heart, I try to understand what I study. But enough of my talk about how I study. I PASSED(last week)!! And now I'm officially going to college. What will I be studying? (I like asking myself those questions before somebody else does) In September I'm going to start my Japanese Studies at the University of Leuven (a city near Brussels). I've partially chosen for Japanese because of the Japanese fashion. We all know Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto, Junya Watanabe and Kenzo as great Japanese designer brands which I've been a fan of since I was 10 years old. And they really inspire me to become part of one of those Japanese brands with their own personality. On the other hand I just wanted something different. No more Economics, no more Science, no more Maths... And this also seems to be a great way "to keep all of my options open". I'm not that kind of person who likes to know what she's going to do when she has graduated from university. I like to keep that a surprise - I love those. Oh, and right now I get to enjoy of an extra long vacation: a half month extra (it's something).
How were your exams?
And here's some Japanese street style inspiration. Don't you just love the Harajuku-style?
